Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of stromal cell-derived factor-1α (SDF-1α), transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) and the severity of coronary artery stenosis in patients with coronary heart disease and coronary heart disease. Methods A total of 124 patients were divided into two groups: stable angina pectoris (SAP) group (32 cases), unstable angina pectoris group (30), AMI group (32 cases) and control group (30 cases). The plasma levels of SDF-1α and TGF-β1 were measured by ELISA. Coronary angiography was performed and the severity of coronary artery stenosis was evaluated by Gensini score. Results ① The levels of plasma SDF-1α and TGF-β1 in SAP group, UAP group and AMI group were lower than those in control group (P <0.01), but lower in UAP group and AMI group than in SAP group (P <0.01) (P <0.01). ② The correlation coefficient of plasma SDF-1α level with Gensini score of SAP group, UAP group and AMI group was r = -0.31, P = 0.0749, r = -0.69, 0.76, P = 0.0049. The correlation coefficients of TGF-β1 and Gensini scores of each group were r = -0.19, P = 0.1592, r = -0.71, P = 0.0037, r = -0.77, The levels of TGF-β1 and TGF-β1 were significantly different between single vessel disease, double vessel disease and three vessel disease groups (P <0.01), and were negatively correlated with vessel vessel count (r = -0.65, P = 0.0218; r = 0.73, P = 0.0065). Conclusion The plasma levels of SDF-1α and TGF-β1 in patients with coronary heart disease were decreased, which were negatively correlated with the severity of coronary heart disease and the degree of coronary artery stenosis.
