一在古人有关李益的评论资料中,李益的时代归属问题大致有三种观点:中唐诗人、大历诗人、大历贞元间诗人。将其称为中唐诗人固然不错,但范围失之过大。而将其视为大历诗人,其中比较有代表性的是将其视为“大历十才子”中的一员,如《唐百家诗选评》、李慈铭《越缦堂读书记》、宋育仁《三唐诗品》在评论李益时均分别出现“在大历十才子中号为翘楚”①
