《大战宁沪杭》是革命历史世片《大进军》四部中的开篇,也是八一厂摄制的解放战争系列影片《大转折》《大决战》和《大进军》的最后一部,即收山之作。该片总导演韦廉自1987年担任《大决战——平津战役》首席导演以来,在12年中参与创作完成了三部重大革命历史题材的影片(1994年任《大转折》编剧之一和导演,1997年任《大战宁沪杭》总导演)。在《大战宁沪杭》即将与观众见面之际,记者采访了韦廉导演。
