圆斑蝰是我国广西、广东和福建地区的主要毒蛇之一。它属于蝰科、蝰属,学名为Vipera russell:siamensis Smith,在国外有Gans等初步研究了蝰亚科某些蛇类的视细胞超微结构,但未见到有关圆斑蝰视网膜超微结构的报道。在国内也没有见到这方面的报道,本实验通过对圆斑蝰视网膜超微结构的观察,以探讨这种蛇的视网膜特征及其活动的规律性,提供防治圆斑蝰咬伤的依据。本文对圆斑蝰视网膜进行显微和电镜观察结果如下:
