给予年轻人能量,让他们免于恐惧;在严格评估的同时给予他们足够的空间;让他们没有行政束缚的同时,享受到最好的科研服务。这被认为是北生所年轻科学家们快速“冒尖”的秘诀所在。成立10年来,北京生命科学研究所(以下简称“北生所”)交出了漂亮的成绩单——截至目前,在国际一流学术期刊上发表了268篇文章,其中《自然》15篇,《科学》9篇,《细胞》8篇。在首届霍华德.休斯医学研究所“国际青年科学家奖”的评选中,中国有7名科学家入选,而北生所就占了4名。
Give young people energy to save them from fear; give them plenty of room for rigorous assessment; and allow them to enjoy the best of scientific research without administrative constraints. This is considered to be the secret that North scientists are quick to “tip”. In the 10 years since its founding, the Beijing Institute of Life Sciences (hereinafter referred to as “BeiShengSuo”) has produced beautiful transcripts - up till now, 268 articles have been published in world-class academic journals, including 15 articles of “nature” , “Science” 9, “Cell” 8. In the first Howard Hughes Medical Institute “International Young Scientist Award ” of the selection, China has seven scientists selected, and North Health accounted for four.
