Centchroman为一种非甾体口服避孕药,使用剂量为每周30mg,为了预防治疗开始时的失败,目前推荐使用剂量为每周2次,每次30mg,共12周以达到足够的血药水平。此项研究是以简化给药时间安排但不损害每周2次给药方式为目的。
Centchroman, a non-steroidal oral contraceptive, is administered at a dose of 30 mg weekly and is currently recommended at a dose of 30 mg twice a week for 12 weeks to achieve adequate plasma levels in order to prevent failure at the beginning of treatment . The study was designed to streamline the dosing schedule without compromising twice-weekly dosing schedules.
