2007年江西省旱情逐渐蔓延和加剧,部分地区发生了严重干旱。伴随高温晴热天气的持续,省防总决定,将四级抗旱应急响应上升为三级,并投入上亿元资金抗旱。旱情已使我省100多万人出现饮水困难,农作物受旱面积更是在不断扩大。截至7月31日,全省农作物受旱面积为1360万亩,受旱面积占作物种植面积的33%,其中作物受旱面积794万亩,水田缺水无法栽插面积395万亩,旱地缺墒面积171万亩;有135万人因旱饮水困难。
In 2007, the drought in Jiangxi Province gradually spread and intensified, and serious drought occurred in some areas. With the continuation of hot and cold weather, provincial defense decision, the four drought emergency response rose to three, and invested billions of yuan of funds to combat drought.
