From January 20 to January 29, 1989, the review and appraisal of the “Fireworks and Fire Safety and Quality” and “Fireworks and Crackers Sampling Inspection Rules” of the People’s Republic of China were held in Beijing. The meeting was presided over by the Standards Department of the Ministry of Light Industry. National Technology Supervision Bureau, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Commerce, State Administration of Commodity Inspection, China Consumer Association, Beijing Consumer Association, Ministry of Light Industry Arts and Crafts Corporation and the relevant institutions of higher learning, research institutes, quality 47 representatives of 29 units including supervision and testing centers, manufacturers and hospitals attended the meeting
