Objective: To investigate the effects of different blood sources on reproduction, survival and malaria transmission in Anopheles sinensis populations. Methods: Anopheles sinensis was bred with human blood, bovine blood, pig blood and sheep blood respectively under the experimental conditions. The differences in blood-sucking, oviposition, hatching and longevity of Anopheles sinensis were observed and recorded. Results: The amount of sucking blood was the lowest among those who sucked pigs, which was significantly different from those of the other three sources (P <0.05). There was no significant difference between the other three groups (P> 0.05). Blood-sucking rate: sucking cattle and pig blood were high, sucking human and sheep blood were low; sucking cattle and pig blood were compared with sucking and sheep blood, there was significant difference (P <0.05) There was no significant difference between the blood group, inhalation group and sheep blood group (P> 0.05). The fecundity was the highest in sucking cattle and the lowest in suckling pigs, the difference was significant (P <0.01). There was a significant difference between those who absorbed the calf blood and those who inhaled the blood and those who had the blood (P <0.05). There was no significant difference between those who inhaled the blood and the blood of the deceased (P> 0.05). The spawning rate was lower in sucking pig blood, but no significant difference compared with those in other three groups (P> 0.05). Incubation rate was the highest among those with bovine calculus, which was significantly different from the other three (P <0.05), while the other three had no significant difference (P> 0.05). Reproductive nutrition cycle: the shortest time for sucking blood, compared with sucking cattle and pig blood, there was significant difference (P <0.05), no significant difference between sucking blood and sucking blood (P> 0.05) There was no significant difference between cattle and pig blood (P> 0.05). Average life expectancy: no significant difference between the four blood sources (P> 0.0?
