China’s 68.99 million farmers participated in the new rural cooperative medical care On November 5th, the State Council Information Office released the news that the pilot work of the new rural cooperative medical care in China covered a total of 95.04 million people in the agricultural population, and actually participated in the 68.99 million farmers in the new type of rural cooperative medical care. The rate of new rural cooperative medical care was 72.6%. As of the end of June, 310 counties (cities) in 30 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country have launched a new rural cooperative.
