书法是中华民族传统艺术中最富有内涵的艺术之一,既是欣赏艺术,又是实用艺术。书法作为普通高校的选修课,是为全面提高大学生素质而开设的课程,其对大学生继承和弘扬民族文化优秀传统,增强他们对民族文化的认知能力,丰富他们的知识内涵,培育他们的人文精神和健全的人格,都有着极大的帮助。因此,开展好高校的书法选修课教学有着积极的意义。
