人工授精是目前生殖生物学中十分活跃的领域。它可治疗包括器质性及精神性夫妇生殖功能失常所致的不育症,在研究生殖生理及免疫避孕等方面亦颇具价值。人工授精所用的精液可来自丈夫(AIH)或供体(AID)。方法可分体外精卵结合(IUF)后移入母体子宫内(ET)和直接注精子至女性生殖道。后者包括阴道内授精、宫颈管授精和子宫内授精(IUI)。目前IUF的成功率较高,而ET却很低。一般作20次ET只有一个足月活婴诞生,故多数学者认为,子宫内授精(IUI)在许多情况下可提高受孕机
Artificial insemination is a very active field in reproductive biology. It treats infertility caused by the reproductive dysfunction of the organic and spiritual couples, and is also valuable in the study of reproductive physiology and immune contraception. Semen used for artificial insemination may be from the husband (AIH) or the donor (AID). Methods can be divided into sperm and egg (IUF) into the mother’s intrauterine (ET) and direct injection of sperm into the female reproductive tract. The latter include intravaginal insemination, cervical canal insemination and intrauterine insemination (IUI). The current success rate of IUF is high, while ET is very low.
