“Zou Jiong satirizes the king and satirizes the king”: “On a day, the guest comes from the outside, and talks with oneself.” The textbook interpretation “day” is “tomorrow”, not appropriate. For the sake of seeking meaning, it should be “the second day”. In ancient Chinese, “day of the day” can mean “the next day of today”, and can also mean “the next day of a certain day in the past.” The former should be interpreted as “tomorrow”. For example, “The Banquet of the Banquet”: “The Xiang Bo promises, that is, Pei Gongxi. : ’Thank you every day, Xie Xiang Wang!’ The latter should be interpreted as ’the second day’ or ’the next day.’ For example, ’The Banquet of the Banquet’: ’Pei Gong will ride from more than one hundred to see the king.’ The two cannot be confused.
