This article reviews various types of Josephson junctions, with tunnel junctions and shrink-structural junctions as an important example of high-frequency operation limitations. We limit the limitations of high-frequency performance specified by the capacitance. We performed a theoretical analysis and compared the theoretical results of the heating effect with experimental results of variable thickness bridges (VTBs) and point-contact junctions. The non-equilibrium effect is more reasonable than the simple one, which is briefly discussed. At the end of the article, excerpts from the point-contact junctions with near-ideal eigenfrequency relationships are apparent for far-infrared frequencies up to twice the energy gap.
