该品种一般株高1.4—1.6米,葱白长50—70厘米,葱白基部直径3—4厘米,单株重0.5—0.8公斤。典型单株高达2米,葱白长80厘米,重1.5公斤。因其植株高大,直立魁伟,壮似大梧桐树,故名“特大梧桐葱”。河北半集市旧城镇农枝站农试场引进后,经多年提纯选育和试验推广,一般亩产3000—4000公斤,高的达5000公斤以上。深受菜农欢迎。被人们赞为“葱中之王”。
The general plant height of 1.4-1.6 meters, onion length 50-70 cm, light blue base 3-4 cm in diameter, weight 0.5-0.8 kg. Typical single plant up to 2 meters, blue 80 cm long, weighing 1.5 kg. Because of its tall plants, erect Kui Wei, Zhuang like big plane trees, hence the name “extra large Indus onion.” After the introduction of agricultural experiment farm in the old town of Peibu Jiushi in Hebei Province, after many years of purification, breeding and experiment promotion, the average output per mu is 3000-4000 kg and the height is over 5000 kg. Welcomed by vegetable farmers. People are praised as “king of onion.”
