This article explains the importance of brush and ink from different perspectives and positions of theorists, interprets the brush and ink tradition of Chinese painting from the perspective of the history of ink and brush in the perspective of Chinese painting, and thus draws our own views and attitudes toward the problems of Chinese painting.
