村民自治是我国重要的基层政治制度,但目前“贿选”现象严重,危害了这一制度并可能摧毁我国村庄基层民主的基础。应通过大力宣传选举政策、规章制度等提升村民认识,因地制宜地调整村民自治形式及增强惩罚机制等办法予以解决。
Villagers’ autonomy is an important grassroots political system in our country. However, the phenomenon of “bribery and corruption” is so serious that it harms this system and may destroy the foundation of village grassroots democracy in our country. Efforts should be made to raise villagers ’awareness by vigorously promoting election policies and rules and regulations, and to solve these problems according to local conditions by adjusting the form of villagers’ autonomy and strengthening the punishment mechanism.
