语言是文化的载体,又是文化的构成要素。语言与文化的关系既有部分与整体的包含关系,又有形式与内容的制约关系。一个民族的文化若没有语言就无法记录与传承,语言的诸要素也会不同程度地反映和体现文化特点,而词汇则是最能反映民族文化特点的部分。日本种类繁多的“ミニ野菜”成为反映和体现日本“缩小”文化的意图与特点的一个侧面。
Language is the carrier of culture, but also a component of culture. The relationship between language and culture has the relationship between the existing part and the whole, as well as the relationship between form and content. If a nation’s culture can not record and inherit without the language, the elements of the language will reflect and embody the cultural features to varying degrees, while the vocabulary is the part that best reflects the characteristics of the national culture. The wide variety of “ミ ニ wild dishes” in Japan has become a reflection of and reflects one of the aspects of Japan’s intention of “shrinking” the culture.
