近日爆发的“苏丹红风波”,令“食品安全”问题再一次成为国人关注的焦点.据国家质量监督检验检疫总局2001-2003年的一项专项调查,全国有10.6万多家食品企业,其中,70%是10人以下的家庭作坊式企业,超过10%的企业无营业执照,1/5属无标生产,2/3不具备食品检验能力,近一半食品出厂不检验,1/4对进厂原料不进行任何把关,60%不具备基本生产条件,难以保证食品质量安全.按照卫生部提供的统计数字,2003年卫生部共收到全国重大食物中毒事件报告379起,12876人中毒,323人死亡.
