Objective: To understand the status of hepatitis B virus infection in newly diagnosed non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) in Nantong area. Methods: The clinical data of 138 newly diagnosed NHL patients were retrospectively analyzed. The proportion of HBV seropositive patients was statistically analyzed and compared with the detection rate of HBV in emergency trauma patients. Results: The positive rate of HBsAg in 138 patients with NHL was 13.77%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (5.82%) (P = 0.045). The positive rate of anti-HBc was 36.96% lower than that of the control group (54.37%), Significance (P = 0.011). The positive rate of HBsAg, the positive rate of HBs Ab and the positive rate of Hbc Ab in B cell NHL and T cell NHL were not statistically different (4.17% vs 15.79%, 54.17% vs 51.75%, 41.67% vs 35.09%, P> 0.05) . Conclusion: The prevalence of HBV infection in NHL patients in Nantong area is higher than that in the general population, which is related to the incidence of NHL.
