1997年12月30日,在南非首都比勒陀利亚,中国政府和南非政府签署了关于两国建立外交关系的联合公报。公报宣布,两国政府决定“自1998年1月1日起相互承认并建立大使级外交关系”。从这个庄严的时刻开始,中国和南非之间的经贸活动更为密切地开展起来了。拉斯维加斯般的浪漫、天涯海角的诗意、动物世界的原始、巴黎般的繁华也慢慢被世人撩开了面纱。2008年3月3-4日,达之路非洲投资高峰论坛召开之际,恰逢中国和南非建交10周年。《国际市场》杂志社记者为此采访了南非驻上海总领事馆总领事库玛乐,和领事先生一起畅想中国和南非的经贸合作前景。
On December 30, 1997, in Pretoria, the capital of South Africa, the Chinese government and the South African government signed a joint communique on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The communique announced that the two governments have decided to “recognize each other and establish ambassadorial-level diplomatic relations as of January 1, 1998”. From this solemn moment, the economic and trade activities between China and South Africa started more closely. Las Vegas-like romance, the poetic ends of the earth, the original animal world, Paris-like bustle has gradually been veiled by the world veil. From March 3-4, 2008, the summit of Africa Investment Summit reached up to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Africa. International Market magazine interviewed Kumale, the consul-general of the South African Consulate General in Shanghai, and envisioned the prospect of economic and trade cooperation between China and South Africa together with his consul.
