Name in the light far. Born in 1915 in Shanghai, 2013, died in Beijing at the age of 98. He graduated from Tsinghua University Department of Physics in 1936. In 1935 he participated in the January 9 student movement and joined the Chinese Communist Party one year later. Since 1941, he began to study economic work in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region and then taught at the Finance and Economics Department of Yan’an University. After the founding of New China, he successively served as a member of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, deputy director of the National Science Council, deputy director of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences
