In 2002, a bus fleet with special charging panels ran on the streets of the Italian cities of Genoa and Turin. Similar charging pad devices have been pre-processed on the side of the bus stop to charge the vehicle - the overall concept of efficient wireless charging lies in the near-term charging - the charging point and charging receiver are radically non-coupled. To replace the existing transport system, when the government proposed using plug-in charging technology at that time, the unanimous opposition of bus drivers based on health and safety considerations led to the attempt of wireless charging technology.
