一、通用汽车被调查事件(一)通用汽车涉嫌13年隐瞒点火开关缺陷。据《国际金融报》、《华尔街日报》等知名媒体近来的陆续报道,面对美国高速公路安全管理局(NHTSA)与美国司法部的调查,通用汽车已经承认在点火开关故障车存在汽车熄火以及动力转向系统、刹车和安全气囊系统失灵等安全隐患;并且,该公司未能按相关法律要求在知晓上述情况后的5天内报告,而这一故障多年来导致至少47起事故,并造成至少13人死亡。
First, GM was investigated (a) General Motors alleged 13 years to hide the ignition switch defects. According to recent reports by well-known media such as IFC and The Wall Street Journal, in the face of a survey conducted by the U.S. Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the U.S. Department of Justice, General Motors has acknowledged that vehicle stalls exist in the event of ignition switch failure and Power steering, brakes and airbag system failure; and, the company failed to report as required by applicable law within five days of being aware of the situation, which has caused at least 47 accidents over the years and has resulted in at least 13 People die.
