在党的十一届三中全会精神鼓舞下,我县各级党组织十分重视油菜生产.全县种植油菜4.1万亩,总产2.6万多担,比一九七八年扩种1.3万亩,总产增1万多担.为了夺取油菜高产,在油菜播种前,从四川引进甘兰型油菜矮架早、红油2号、丰收4号,从浙江引进的甘兰型油菜良种乌龙73.这些新引进的品种,经过精心栽培,都获得了丰收.四川引进的三个油菜品种,平均亩产二百斤;乌龙73平均亩产130斤.甘兰型油菜不论平原、半山区、高山
