党的十一届三中全会以来,邓小平同志把马克思主义的普遍真理同中国的具体实践相结合,反复而深刻地阐述了社会主义的主要任务是发展生产力这一思想。这是邓小平同志的从实际出发,建设有中国特色的社会主义理论的重要组成部分,在《建设有中国特色的社会主义》增订本一书中,占有大量篇幅。我们在当前学习这本书的时候,要深刻理解这一科学思想,用它来武装我们的头脑,指导我们的实践,矢志不渝地为发展中国的生产力尽心尽力。
Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, Comrade Deng Xiaoping has combined the universal truth of Marxism with the concrete practice of China and repeatedly and profoundly expounded the idea that the main task of socialism is to develop the productive forces. This is an important part of Comrade Deng Xiaoping's theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics that is based on reality and occupies a large space in an updated book entitled “Building Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.” When we are studying this book, we must profoundly understand this scientific thinking, use it to arm our minds, guide our practice, and unswervingly devote ourselves to developing productive forces in China.
