明末清初著名学者王夫之的思想体系虽然是构筑在传统的儒学基础上,然而他的文学观点,特别是诗歌理论,能够从文学创作实践出发,深入文学艺术创作的本质,创造性地揭示出诗歌创作与欣赏的特殊规律。在王夫之诗歌理论中,最值得注意的就是他的“神理”说。“神理”是王夫之诗论中一个颇为空灵的概念,王夫之形容它“才著手便煞,一放手又飘忽去”。“神理”是体味王夫之诗学精妙的关键,同时也是王夫之对中国古典诗歌美学的重要贡献。
