林老师:你好!谢谢你的祝福,我已平安抵达美国,现在在西雅图家中给你回信。谢谢你对上篇文章的兴趣。你说在了解了“美国并无严格意义上的中国式的语文课”后,更加想了解:美国高中阶段的语言艺术类课程到底都上些什么内容?有没有统一的课本或是教材?这个问题看似简单,但在深层次上涉及到美国中学阶段母语教育的整体状况,回答起来比较复杂。为了更好地说明问题,我就主要针对高中阶段来谈谈美国的语言艺术类课程的开设情况以及主要内容。

You said that after learning about the “United States does not have Chinese-style language classes in a strict sense,” you would like to know more about what the U.S. high school language art curriculum is all about. Is there a unified textbook or textbook? This problem seems simple, but it involves the overall situation of mother-tongue education at the secondary level in the United States at a deep level, and the answer is more complicated. In order to better illustrate the issue, I will mainly talk about the setting up of the U.S. language arts curriculum and its main contents for high school students.
