接到访以色列的通知,心中十分高兴。以色列这个国家对我来说是十分神秘的:一个小国,五百万人口,以犹太人为主,宗教色彩浓厚,高科技发达,陆地三面与黎巴嫩、叙利亚、约旦、埃及等国接壤,一面是美丽的地中海。1948年建国,建国以后经历了五次大战,这个小国都打胜了。它自建国以来,一直承认中华人民共和国,两国之间直到1992年才正式建交。去年七月十日我率领六人的中国艺术家代表团,乘北京——特拉维夫直航,启程去以色列,开始了为期一周的艺术交流活动。
I am very happy to receive the notice of visiting Israel. The country of Israel is very mysterious to me: a small country with five million inhabitants, predominantly Jewish, rich religions, advanced technology and three continents bordering Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and other countries on one side and beautiful on the other Mediterranean. The founding of the PRC in 1948, after the founding of the country experienced five wars, this small country has won. Since its founding, it has always recognized the People’s Republic of China and formally established diplomatic relations between the two countries until 1992. On July 10 last year, I led a delegation of six Chinese artists who took a direct flight from Beijing to Tel Aviv and departed for Israel to start a one-week art exchange.
