随着中国经济快速增长,中国内地从2007年开始已成为全球第一大出境游客源地。即便如此,内地游客的数量仍有很大增长空间,其中多数游客可能会前往周边的亚洲地区。由于内地游客展现出强大的购买力,这种趋势应会使受访的经济体受益。鉴此,一些亚洲邻国近年已放宽了针对中国内地游客的签证要求,有效增加了来自中国内地的游客数量。亚洲地区其他政府或当局若想充分利用这一快速增长的商机,亦应效仿此举。
With the rapid economic growth in China, the mainland of China has become the world’s largest source of outbound tourists since 2007. Even so, there is still plenty of room for growth in mainland tourists, most of whom may travel to the surrounding Asian region. Given the strong purchasing power of mainland tourists, such a trend should benefit the economies interviewed. In view of this, some Asian neighbors in recent years have relaxed the visa requirements for tourists from mainland China and effectively increased the number of tourists from the Mainland of China. Other governments or authorities in Asia should follow suit if they want to take full advantage of this rapidly growing business opportunity.
