In this paper, the differences in the spatial distribution of Shanxi population and the number of operas in the three historical years of 1911, 1965 and 2003 were respectively selected to reveal the geographical distribution of Shanxi population under the influence of natural and human factors The situation is closely linked with the formation and development of the Shanxi operas and the spatial distribution characteristics. Throughout the three years, the performance of the population growth and the number of operatic drama reduced from positive to non-positive correlation. The spatial distribution of population shows the trend of development in south Dubei, north, south and north than in west. The corresponding spatial distribution of the number of operatic operas experienced the development process of Nantong Bei Shu, Bei Mi Nansu and Central China more than the eastern and western parts. Reflected in the delay in the reduction of the number of operas, the natural environment is poor, sparsely populated areas better than natural conditions, large population areas.
