关于主题与立意: 这是一部建国以来公安题材影视作品中规模最大、篇幅最长、涉及背景最广阔、斗争层次最高的电视剧。 这又不是一部一般的公安题材,而是以公安为视角,反映广东改革开放以来的社会风貌,展示特区与珠江三角洲在经济腾飞与精神文明建设中的新事物、新观念、新思维,同时触及到了高层次的商战,以及97年回归前夕香港实业家与某些黑社会成员的现状与心态,还有中国警方与国际犯罪集团斗争的过程,事件宏大,场面壮观,人物众多,我们力求要拍成一部波澜壮阔的史诗与画卷。
