2003年11月12日,四面八方的人流像赶大集一样涌向北京全国农展馆,展馆内人声鼎沸,锣鼓喧天,彩旗飘扬,为期6天的首届中国国际农产品交易会隆重开幕。农业部部长杜青林致开幕辞。中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理回良玉,全国人大常委会副委员长乌云其木格等出席开幕式并参观了展览。各省展团代表和企业代表、外国驻华使节等3000多人出席了开幕式。
On November 12, 2003, the crowds of people in all directions flocked to the National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing in the same way as the Dazu Group. The six-day first China International Agricultural Products Fair was opened with sounding voices, gongs and drums, and colorful flags fluttering. Minister of Agriculture Du Qinglin delivered the opening speech. Hui Liangyu, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, vice premier of the State Council, and Wu Yunqi, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition. More than 3,000 delegates from various provincial pavilions, business representatives and foreign ambassadors attended the opening ceremony.
