在《老年人权益保护法》正式实施后的第一个“老人节”到来之际,北京市房山区法院长沟法庭采用巡回审判方式审理了一起近八旬老太状告两个儿子要求给付赡养费的案件。78岁的原告张某起诉至法院要求两个儿子出钱让自己住进敬老院。为方便老人诉讼,同时也为了扩大法治宣传、增强案件的社会效果,案件承办人选择了巡回审判方式。前往老人所居住地的村委会审理案件,包括北京电视台、法治中国传媒、《新京报》、《京华时报》、《法制晚报》等多家媒体的记者到现场参与采访报道。
