马国强,原籍河南省温县,1952年1月生。毕业于河南大学美术系中国画专业。1982年被选入文化部中国画研究院(现中国国家画院)第二期人物画创研班进行创作,面聆叶浅予、黄胄等大师教诲。现为河南省文学艺术界联合会主席、河南省美术家协会主席、河南省国画家协会主席、河南省人大常委、河南大学艺术学院研究生导师、苏州大学美术学院特聘教授。作品多次参加全国重大美展并获奖,出版有《马国强人物画集》、《马国强人物画》、《马国强水墨人物画》等画集。
Ma Guoqiang, originally from Wen County, Henan Province, born in January 1952. Graduated from Henan University Department of Fine Arts Chinese painting professional. 1982 was selected for the Ministry of Culture Chinese Painting Research Institute (nowChina National Academy of Art) the second phase of figure painting research classes to create, face Master Ye Qian Yu, Huang Yi and other guru teachings. He is currently the chairman of Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Henan Province, the chairman of Henan Artists Association, the chairman of Henan Painters’ Association of China, the standing committee of Henan Provincial People’s Congress, the postgraduate tutor of Henan University College of Art, and the distinguished professor of Suzhou University of Fine Arts. Works on many occasions to participate in the national major art exhibition and award-winning, published “Ma Guoqiang figure collection”, “Ma Guoqiang figure painting”, “Ma Guoqiang Ink figure painting” and other paintings.
