20世纪初,以邓恩为代表的玄学派诗歌重新获得青睐,这与艾略特的大力推崇且把玄学派诗歌奉为英语诗歌的顶峰分不开。文章通过对邓恩和艾略特诗作的创作思想与写作技巧进行比较,分析后者对前者在创作思想上的借鉴与吸收,以及后者通过理论化与综合化创新超越的过程,从而为文学的传统继承与突破创新提供一个新的个案,并为加深对邓恩与艾略特两位诗人的理解提供一个更广阔的视野。
At the beginning of the 20th century, the metaphysical poems represented by Dunne regained favor, which is inseparable from Eliot’s great esteem and the devotion of metaphysical poetry as the peak of English poetry. By comparing the creative thinking and writing skills of Dunn’s and Eliot’s poems, the article analyzes the former’s reference and absorption in creative thinking and the latter’s surpassing through theorization and integration, Traditional inheritance and breakthrough innovation to provide a new case, and to deepen the understanding of Dunn and Eliot two poets to provide a broader perspective.
