在近年来发表的一系列论著中,都讨论过高温淬火可显著提高高强度钢断裂韧性的可能性。其结论表明:提高奥氏体化温度(t_a)可降低疲劳裂纹的扩展速度,也可降低淬火钢的延迟断裂倾向。但高温淬火的实际应用是较为复杂的,因为提高温度(t_a)常常使冲击韧性(a_H)急剧降低,这是由于钢加热至1100~1200℃时奥氏体晶粒急剧增大的缘故。
In a series of theses published in recent years, the possibility of high temperature quenching can be significantly improved fracture toughness of high strength steel. The conclusion shows that increasing the austenitizing temperature (t_a) can reduce the fatigue crack growth rate and also reduce the tendency of the quenched steel to delay fracture. But the practical application of high temperature quenching is more complicated, because increasing the temperature (t_a) often causes the sharp decrease of the impact toughness (a_H), which is due to the sharp increase of the austenite grains when the steel is heated to 1100-1200 ° C.
