信息产业是以生产和提供“信息“产品为核心的新兴产业。信息产业以知识为基础,以信息的加工处理和传播为生产过程,以提供信息服务为手段,通过信息的使用实现社会财富的全面增值的目的。信息产业之所以能够逐渐成为当今发达国家的主导产业,主要是由它的创新推动机制决定的。信息产业的创新推动机制首先是它的技术创新推动机制,信息产业的创新推动机制主要体现在信息技术被广泛应用于各种传统产业中之后所引起的传统产业的技术革命。
The information industry is a new industry based on the production and provision of “information” products. Information industry based on knowledge, processing and dissemination of information for the production process, to provide information services as a means of information through the use of social wealth to achieve the full value-added purposes. The reason why the information industry can gradually become the leading industry in the developed countries today is determined mainly by its mechanism of innovation and promotion.
