原武汉军区司令部副参谋长王步青是笔者的老首长,他于1939年冬天从左权办的八路军总部参谋训练队出来跟随陈赓将军,前后有12年时间,历任参谋、股长、科长、军政处长,对陈赓将军自然非常熟悉.王步青同志在笔者面前经常提起往事,讲了许多陈赓将军的故事,生动感人.陈赓将军半世历险,一生传奇,英勇无畏,叱咤风云,幽默风趣,光明磊落.他那丰富的经历,可以说是一曲豪迈的战歌,一首壮丽的诗篇.这里记下的,是陈赓将军在战争年代几个鲜为人知的片断.
