进入21世纪,新课程改革在全国推行开来。初中地理教学作为新课改的重点内容,在培养学生的地理文化素养和探索精神等方面发挥着极其重要的作用。初中作为学生学习地理的关键性阶段,为学生高中乃至大学的地理学习奠定了坚实的基础。在新阶段,初中地理新课程改革给初中地理教学提出了新的要求,即发挥教师的主导作用,创新教学模式,从基本的生活经验进行教学,引导学生加深对地理课的理解,从而促进教师的高效教学和学生的有效学习。
