现在的书画界,是以成败论英雄的,而成败的标准,往往是书画作品在市场上的价格。谁价格高,卖得多,追捧者众,则喜形于色,得意洋洋,以成功者自居;谁打不开市场,书画卖不出去,谁就没有地位,没有发言权。能卖的唯一好处,是有钱;能卖的最大不好处,是使得书画家只想到钱,只看到钱,只为了钱。为钱而卖的书画家,与其他为钱而卖的人没有本质的区别,包括小姐卖春。有哪一条强有力的理由能够让人信服地说明,卖书画一定是高尚的,卖身子一定是下贱的?
