黄河北干流流域地理位置十分重要,是国家“三西”(山西、陕西、内蒙西部)能源基地的中心地带,是我国煤炭资源最为丰富的地区之一。随着煤炭工业的发展,这一地区将成为我国最大的煤炭和火电生产基地。搞好黄河北干流水利水电项目及其流域的开发和建设,是关系国家和三省西部区域经济发展的大事。加快黄河北干流秦晋段水利水电综合开发,对于实现国家能源发展战略目标和秦晋两省国民经济发展具有重大战略意义和长远经济利益。
The geographical position of the Yellow River North Mainstream Basin is very important. It is the center of the energy base of the country “Three Wests” (Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia) and one of the most abundant coal resources in China. With the development of the coal industry, this area will become the largest coal and thermal power production base in China. To do a good job in the development and construction of the water conservancy and hydropower project and its drainage basin in the north of the Yellow River is a major event that affects the economic development of the country and the western region of the three provinces. Accelerating the comprehensive development of hydropower and hydropower in the Qin and Jin Dynasties in the north part of the Yellow River has great strategic significance and long-term economic benefits for achieving the strategic goal of national energy development and the national economic development of the two provinces.
