2011年,辽宁省实验中学与全球最大的教育集团——美国KAPLAN合作,成立了辽宁省实验中学KAPLAN国际部。国际化教学以学生为中心,培养学生自主学习能力及批判性思维能力,帮助学生提前适应美国大学教学模式,提高学生综合能力。作为辽宁省内新中国的第一所实验学校,辽宁省实验中学在探索的过程中,总结的经验有两点。一是引进国际课程之后,走一条国际课程本土化、本土课程国际化的自主研发之路。经过两年努力,目前辽宁省实验中学国际课程按照6大模块设计,学生以就读3年为主。
In 2011, Liaoning Experimental Middle School and KAPLAN, the largest education group in the world, cooperated with KAPLAN in the United States to set up KAPLAN International Department of Liaoning Experimental Middle School. International teaching to students as the center, to develop students’ autonomous learning ability and critical thinking ability, to help students adapt to the teaching mode of American universities in advance, improve the comprehensive ability of students. As the first experimental school in new China in Liaoning Province, Liaoning Experimental Middle School in the process of exploration, summed up the experience of two points. First, the introduction of international courses, take an international course localization, local courses internationalization of independent research and development. After two years of hard work, at present, Liaoning Province Experimental Middle School International Curriculum is designed according to 6 major modules, and students are mainly enrolled for 3 years.
