环氧乙烷是一种气体消毒剂。对细菌及芽胞,立克次体、病毒均有杀灭作用.医院里适用于器械,敷料,病室及某些药物及食品消毒.使用时设备简单,用途广泛.环氧乙烷低温下是无色澄明液体,常温下沸腾气化。环氧乙烷一般貯存于高压钢瓶中,为了方便临床,我们把环氧乙烷封于20ml 安瓶中,用于体外循环手术器械,管道、敷料的消毒.其制法简介如下:
