胆水浸铜法,就是铁从硫酸铜溶液中取代出铜的方法,为中国古代的重要发明之一。大概近代化学上所说的金属“置换作用”,中国人民早在秦汉间已有认识,到唐、五代间这个认识就见于生产实践;而更有值得特别注意的是它在宋代的铜矿生产中,曾起过相当重大的作用。当时称胆水浸铜为胆铜(五代初称“铁铜”)。兹专就宋代的胆铜生产考证叙述如后。 (一)宋代的胆水勘查和胆铜生产宋朝因铸币感到铜原料不足,对浸铜法甚为重视,胆铜的生产,在由北宋到南宋的长时期,都有过较大的努力和注意。胆铜生产在两宋的铜产量中,占有一定的比重。根据北宋徽宗初年负责南方各省铜事的官员游经统计,胆水产区在当时共有十一处。《宋会要稿》“食
