There are two basic forms of formwork, namely M-type formwork (including 9M formwork) and T-type formwork. The M-shaped formwork can be used to cast two-way ribbed floor slabs; the T-shape formwork is used to spout the trough-shaped floor slabs. This kind of ribbed floor can reduce the weight of the floor compared to the traditional solid concrete floor.
