After the financial crisis broke out in Russia in 1998, the ruble devalued significantly. The devaluation of the ruble brought a rebound to the Far East economy. This rebound is similar to that of the All-Russian economic recovery with its own characteristics. There are two kinds of trends in the Far East market: on the one hand, consumer demand is declining due to the declining living standards of residents; on the other hand, there is an increase in industrial production. The reason for this is that the producers of industrial products, with the encouragement of the all-Russian economic recovery, have better expectations of the future economic situation and have raised their confidence in carrying out business activities and investment activities. However, it is too early to think that the investment environment has become “warming up.”
