九十年代对中国新闻界来说,任务是十分繁重艰巨的。就国内来说,要实现“八五”计划和十年规划,完成现代化建设的第二步战略目标,有赖于新闻舆论的配合。就国际来说,西方敌对势力亡我之心不死,千方百计要对我们社会主义国家实行“和平演变”,新闻战线又面临着反渗透、反演变的严重斗争。不解决这两个方面的任务,我国的社会主义制度就不能巩固,我们就可能走回头路。面对九十年代的繁重任务,新闻战线既要始终
