诺基亚西门子通信公司是崭新的,因为今年4月1日这家公司才开始正式运营,业界对于这家公司的经营理念和组织架构了解实在有限。诺基亚西门子通信公司又是业界所熟悉的,因为,无论是诺基亚还是西门子,在中国通信业的发展过程中都称得上举足轻重。Mika Vehvilainen作为诺基亚西门子通信公司的首席运营官第一次到中国来,是在新公司成立53天之后。他的这次访问无疑是相当繁忙的—会见所有的主要客户和众多政府官员,其目的简单而直接:讨论关于中国技术标准化的问题以及探讨公司未来的发展。而这也正是中国通信业所关心的问题,因为这家公司的目标是成为行业中的第一大企业。
Nokia Siemens Networks is new because the company started operating officially on April 1 this year and the industry is limited in its understanding of the company’s business philosophy and organizational structure. Nokia Siemens Networks is familiar to the industry because neither Nokia nor Siemens is pivotal in the development of China’s communications industry. Mika Vehvilainen came to China for the first time as chief operating officer of Nokia Siemens Networks 53 days after the new company was founded. His visit is undoubtedly quite busy - meeting all major clients and numerous government officials for a simple and straightforward purpose: discussing the issue of technology standardization in China and exploring the future of the company. And that’s exactly what China’s communications industry is concerned with, as the company’s goal is to be the number one company in the industry.
