Some people say that in Britain, the difference between a person’s social status, not what you wear clothes, nor how much you shot, but rather the voice you speak. One cartoon shows a very vivid picture of the social reality: two people called at the same time to have dinner scheduled for a restaurant owner. A gentleman-like person received a satisfactory answer while another was dressed. Painters try to prove to people that voice determines the different attitudes of the boss. In fact, being able to speak a standard English often shows one’s level of education and even represents one’s identity. It is highly regarded in Britain, where the concept of the door is very important.
